Car is a stock 17 Redline. It's been making a ‘flit-flit, tick-flit, tick-tick-flit’ sound going on when car is started from cold. It only lasts for about 2 minutes, then disappears until the next cold start. It reminded me of something my old RX-8 did for a while, which in that case, it turned out to be a loose spark plug (RX-8s can loosen their own plugs - they're weird cars) Anyway, on the Redline, the dealer changed the plugs at last service, but no change in the start-up noise at all. The car has also been a little 'off' in performance lately, especially since it's not yet even hit 70k klms. Anyhoo, these plug leads turned up in my feed - Black Friday Special or something. So why not, figured them a good deal at the price. Fitted them today. Boom! Cold start noise vanished and she's revving and pulling like a stallion. Hmmmmm.... weird! Good Weird!

I have used other leads on my worked 6ltr VE SSV with problems. These leads went straight on with no problems at all. The have give me back my full performance. I can't wait to get another set for my VF W557 GTS.
